Depart very early in the morning to drive for approximately one hour and a half passing sometimes by big extensions of pineapple plantations until you reach the community of La Arenosa in Gatun lake. Here, the captains await for you with the boats fully equipped: fishing poles, live bait, snacks and a cooler with some beverages to cool off as the day gets warmer. The the captain takes you to different fishing spots depending on how they are biting and fish until approximately 11:00 a.m., then head back to where you boarded the boat. Hope you discarded the little fish and give to your captain the fish you want fillet (US$0.20 each fillet) so he then take it to the restaurant next door so you can enjoy the lake view while you eat a freshly caught by yourself fish. The meal costs US$6.50 and you decide if you want rice, "yuca", french fries or plantains to accompany it. After lunch, you are ready for the drive back to Panama City.
